Seedance 2.0 First & Last Frame Guide: Control the Story Endpoints

If your clip starts strong and ends mushy, you don’t have a motion problem—you have an endpoint problem. Here’s how I use Seedance first/last frame thinking.

Seedance first last frame hero

Why endpoints matter

Editors cut on readable frames. If the last frame is blurry hands or a warped label, the take is dead even if mid-clip looked fine.

Workflow

  1. Design the start still (brand-safe)
  2. Design the end still (pose/product readable)
  3. Prompt the transition motion only
  4. Reject takes that ignore the end state

Prompt pattern

Animate from the first frame to the last frame, smooth handheld motion, keep product and face stable, natural daylight, no morphing, no text overlay
